PTU Surfs Up

Fairy Designs Tutorials-2014
This tutorial is my own creation and written by me July 6, 2014. Any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  
This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Please do not copy or claim as your own.  
 Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what 
you wish for personal use only.  No profit is to be made from your results.

Materials Needed:
PSP X3 or any version should work.
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of Anna Liwanag
You can purchase her art at Creative Design Outlet
You must have a license to use her art.
Scrap kit At The Beach by Mellie Beans.
Kit can be purchased at Mystical Scraps or HeartBeatz Creations.
Mask/Slat of choice. I made the one that I am using and you can get it HERE
Mask of choice. I am using gemsmask212 from  gemsmask set #205-213
You can get it at Gems Taggin Scraps.
Font of choice. I am using Stalemate.
EyeCandy4000 - Gradient Glow for text.




Open a new 700x700 transparent image.
Selections Select all.
Open ppo2 - copy - paste into selection.
Selections - select none.
Open e04 - resize 5% - copy - paste as new layer.
Position up toward the wave.
Duplicate - image mirror.
Position down and to the left a bit.
Add a drop shadow of choice.
Merge visible.
Apply your mask.
If you are using my slat mask uses these settings.
New mask layer - from image - chose the mask - source luminance - invert mask data checked - merge group - resize 75% - move up a bit.
Open e02 - resize 70% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move layer under the slat layer.
Highlight the slat layer.
Open e45 - resize 55% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e49 - resize 15% copy - paste as new layer.
Open e47 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e35 - resize 15% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e10 - resize 50% - image - free rotate - 20 - right.
Position up toward the top.
Open your tube - resize as needed - copy paste as new layer.
Position your tube over the end of the umbrella as it doesn't hit the ground.
Add a new raster layer - arrange - send to bottom.
Selections - select all.
Open pp12 - copy - paste into selection.
Apply your second mask - merge - group.
Duplicate.
On the first mask recolor using the manual color corrections.
Source - #97d9e5 - Target - #f79cc9.
Resize 90%.
Highlight the duplicate - resize 75%
You don't see this mask. I did it so that you would see blue between the slats and not pink.
Add a drop shadow of choice to all elements.
Crop and resize to your liking.
Be sure to sharpen.
Add © copyright information, license number and any text or name you want. Save as transparent png.
