Fairy Designs Tutorials-2014

This tutorial is my own creation and written by me August 22, 2014. Any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Please do not copy or claim as your own.

Materials Needed:

PSP X3 or any version should work.
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of Mashi
You can purchase it at Creative Designs.
You need a license to use this art.
Scrap kit Come Autumn by Mellie Beans.
Kit can be purchased at Mystical Scraps or HeartBeatz Creations.
Template MC_Template73 by Melissaz Creationz
Mask of choice. I am using WSL_Mask84 by WeeScotsLass.
Font of choice. I am using Charlie_Chan.




Lets begin.
Open the template - duplicate - close original.
Delete raster layer 7 and raster layer 3.
Highlight the circle layer.
Selections - select all - float - defloat.
Open pp04 - resize 50% - copy - paste as new layer.
Position in circle - hit delete on the keyboard.
Selections - select none.
Delete original layer.
Highlight raster 2 - select as before.
Open pp01 - copy - paste into selection.
Hit delete on the keyboard.
Selections - select none.
Delete original layer.
Highlight raster 6 - select as before.
Open pp14 - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer.
Hit delete on the keyboard.
Selections - select none.
Delete original layer.
Highlight copy of raster 6 - select as before.
Open pp12 - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer.
Hit delete on the keyboard.
Delete original layer.
Highlight raster 1 - select as before.
Recolor using the manual color correction - source - 68ebff - target - ffffff.
Repeat for the copy of raster 1.
Highlight raster 4 - again recolor - source - c0c0c0 - target - 820707.
Repeat for copy of raster 4.
Using the magic wand with the following settings - click on raster 1 and copy of raster 1.

Open your tube - image - mirror - resize as needed - copy - paste as new layer.

Keep your tube to use again later.

Position in the frames - highlight each layer one at a time - hit delete on the keyboard.

Selections - select none.

Highlight raster 1 - effects - texture effects - weave.

Gap size - 1- width - 10 - opacity - 1 - weave color - 268c44 - gap color - 268c44 - fill gaps checked.

Repeat for copy of raster 1.

Open e19 - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move layer above the green stripe layer.

Position - you will have a little bit of the string hang over on each end - erase.

Open e08 - resize 40% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the red stripe layer.

Open your tube again - resize as needed - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e07 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the green stripe layer.

Duplicate - image - flip - position under the bottom frame - using the pick tool rotate to the left a bit.

Highlight the top layer.

Open e14 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e24 - resize 25% - using the freehand selection tool - select the left crane - copy - paste as new layer.

Add a new raster layer - arrange - send to bottom.

Make your foreground 8020707 - flood fill layer.

Apply your mask - merge group.

Crop - resize to your liking - add a drop shadow of choice - be sure to sharpen.

Add © copyright information and license number.

Add what ever name that you would like.
