This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP. Please do not
copy or claim as your own. Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what
you wish for personal use only. No profit is to be made from your results.
Materials Needed:
PSP X3 or any version should work.
I am using the beautiful art of Caron Vinson.
You can purchase this art at Creative Design Outlet.
You must have a license to use her art.
Scrap Kit BCS_IB-LindaBiggs-15-3 by Babycakes Scraps
You can purchase this kit at Creative Design Outlet.
Mask MB and SW Mask 30 you can get it here.
EyeCandy 4000 - Gradient Glow for text.
Xreo - Porcelain.
Lets begin.
Open a new 700x700 transparent image.
Flood fill with b66bbd
You don't have to do this I do so that I can see the mask better,
it will be deleted later.
Add a new raster layer - select all.
Open paper 3 - copy - paste into selection.
Select none.
Apply your mask - merge visible.
Open element 26 - copy - paste as new layer.
Image - mirror.
With the magic wand click inside the frame.
Selections - modify - expand 4 - invert.
Paste paper 3 again and hit delete on keyboard.
Select none.
Lower the opacity to 55.
Move the paper layer below the frame.
Highlight the mask layer as the following are going to go right above it.
Open element 15 - copy - paste as new layer.
Position it down to the right.
Duplicate - mirror - position up.
Duplicate - free rotate - 45 - left.
Position up to the left.
Duplicate - mirror - position down to the right.
You should have something like this.
I closed the frame so that you could see the vines
You can always adjust these to your liking later.
See my tag for placement.
Open element 21 - resize 75% - copy - paste as new layer.
Duplicate 2 more times for a total of 3.
Open element 25 - copy - paste as new layer.
Image - free rotate - 47 left.
Move this layer so it is on top of the flower layers.
Erase most of the steam.
Duplicate - mirror.
Duplicate again and hide this layer.
With your lasso select as below and delete.
Select none.
Position to the top right of the frame.
Now unhide the second one - free rotate 47 - right.
Position down toward the bottom.
Double check and erase any steams that are sticking out.
Open element 23 - resize 65% - copy -n paste as new layer.
Duplicate - resize 75%.
Duplicate - resize 75% - mirror.
Open element 29 - resize 85% - copy - paste as new layer.
Position up top and erase part of the handle so it looks as though it is hanging on the branch.
Now rearrange any leaves or branches that need done.
Add drop shadow of choice.
Merge visible.
Crop and resize to your liking, don't forget to sharpen.
Add © copyright information, license number and any text or name you want. Save as transparent png.
