Fairy Designs Tutorials-2014

This tutorial is my own creation and written by me October 25, 2014. Any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.
Please do not copy or claim as your own.

you wish for personal use only.  No profit is to be made from your results.

Materials Needed:

PSP X3 or any version should work.
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of Elizabeth Austin.
You can purchase it at Creative Design Outlet.
You need a license to use her art.
Scrap kit To Crisp Airby Mellie Beans.
Kit can be purchased at Mystical Scraps or HeartBeatz Creations.
Template DD_Christmas_Template_6_Spirits.
You can get it at Dangerously Delicious Designz.
Font of choice. I am using Nano Script SSi.
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow for text.




Lets begin.
Open the template and duplicate it close the original.
Delete the first 12 layers.
Highlight large brown square.
Recolor using the Manual Color Correction.
Source - ab8153 - Target - 6ea0ce
Rename it layer 1.
Highlight red circle.
Recolor the using the same as before only change -
Source - a22222 - Target - b1cbd8.
Rename layer 2
Highlight the green circle.
Select all - float - defloat - invert.
Open pp04 - copy - paste as new layer - hit delete on the key board.
Select none.
Rename layer 3.
Delete the original layer.
Highlight the dotted circle and recolor as before -
Source - ffffff - Target - 346299.
Do the same with the dotted square.
Highlight left red square.
Select all - float - defloat - invert.
Open pp10 - copy - paste as new layer - hit delete on the keyboard.
Select none.
Rename layer 4.
Delete the original layer.
Do the same with right red square.
Rename layer 5.
Delete the original layer.
Highlight the left light green square.
Select all - float - defloat.
Add a new raster layer.
Highlight the new layer.
Open pp01 - copy - paste into selection.
Rename it layer 6.
Delete the original layer.
Do the same for right light green layer.
Rename it layer 7.
Delete the original layer.
Highlight the green rectangle.
Recolor as before - Source - 23743d - Target - 346299.
Highlight the white square.
Adjust - add remove noise - add noise - Uniform and monochrome
both checked - 45.
Highlight the red square.
Select all - float - defloat - invert.
Open pp06 - copy - paste as new layer - hit delete on the keyboard.
Rename layer 8.
Delete the original layer.
Highlight brown square.
Select all - float - defloat - add a new raster layer.
Highlight the new layer.
Open pp03 - copy - paste into selection.
Select none.
Rename layer 9.
Delete the original layer.
Open your tube - resize as needed - copy - paste as new layer.
Open e16 - resize 45% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move under layer 7.
Duplicate - resize 55%.
Move under layer 9
Duplicate again.
Move under layer 9.
Open e11 resize - resize 60% - erase steam - copy - paste as new layer.

Duplicate - image - mirror - free rotate 45 - right.

Duplicate - image flip.

Open e18 - resize 45% - copy paste as new layer.

There will be a bit of the steam sticking out erase it.

Duplicate - image - mirror - free rotate - 45 - right.

Open e04 - resize 25% - copy - paste as new layer.

Duplicate - image - mirror - free - rotate - 50 - right.

Open e12 - resize 25% - Copy - paste as new layer.

Duplicate - resize 85%.

Open e10 - resize 20% - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e28 - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the pine cone layers.

Open e13 - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under layer 9.

Open e17 - resize 45% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the snow layer.

Duplicate - send to the top - erase the bottom so it looks as it is in the snow.

Open e25 - resize 75% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move above the white background layer.

Move up just a little bit.

Duplicate - image - mirror.

Add a drop shadow of choice to all elements. Add drop shadow of choice to the bottom sign post. I didn't add a drop shadow to the snow or e25.

Crop and resize to your liking. Be sure to sharpen.

Add any text that you may like to the sign post.

Add © copyright information, license number and any text or name you want. Save as transparent png.
