This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP. Please do not
copy or claim as your own. Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what
you wish for personal use only. No profit is to be made from your results.
Materials Needed:
PSP X3 or any should work.
Tube of choice I am using the beautiful art of Rachel Anderson.
You can purchase her art at Creative Design Outlet.
You must have a license to use this art.
Scrap Kit Mermaid Treasures by Jackie's Jewels
The kit can be purchased at Pimpin' PSPers Warehouse
Mask 137InsatiableDreams from InsatiableDreams.
EyeCandy 4000 - Gradient Glow for text.
Let's begin.
Open a new 700x700 transparent image.
Selections - select all.
Open pp 6 - copy - paste into selection.
Select none.
Apply your mask - merge group - resize 80% - duplicate - merge down.
If using the same tube or a similar tube with the long hanging tail you will need to move the mask layer up a little bit.
Open Urchins - resize 25% - copy - paste as new layer.
Open your tube and resize if needed - copy - paste as new layer.
See my tag for placement of elements.
Open Coral1 - resize 55% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move this layer under your tube layer.
Duplicate - resize 65%.
Make sure you are on your top layer.
Open Flower1 - resize 65% - - copy - paste as new layer.
Duplicate - image - mirror - flip.
Open Flowers - copy - paste as new layer.
Open SeaGrass - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer.
Duplicate - image - mirror - resize 75%
Move the first layer under the first flower layers.
Using the duplicated sea grass move that layer under the
flowers layer (the cluster).
You may have to erase a bit of the sea grass depending how far down you put it.
Open the Bow - copy - paste as new layer.
Move this layer under the flowers layer (the cluster)
Open the SeaDeco - copy - paste as new layer.
Move this layer under the bow layer.
Open Bubbles2 - resize 50% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move this layer under the first coral layer.
Duplicate - Position down.
Duplicate - image - mirror.
Move this layer up right under the first sea grass layer.
Open Fish2 - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer.
Move this layer to the top.
Duplicate resize 75%.
Open Fish3 - copy - paste as new layer.
Move this layer below the first sea grass layer.
Duplicate - resize 75%
Add a drop shadow of choice to all elements and your tube.
Merge visible - crop and resize to your liking. Be sure to sharpen all elements.
Add © copyright information, license number and any text or name you want. Save as transparent png.
