PTU Dark Side

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.  Please do not 

copy or claim as your own.  Anything you produce from this tutorial is yours to do what 

you wish for personal use only.  No profit is to be made from your results.

Materials Needed:

PSP X3 or any version should work.

A tube of choice. I am using the amazing art work of Gaetano Di Falco which you can purchase at Creative Design Outlet. You must have a license to use this art.

Scrap kit by Chi Chi Designz  part of an awesome PTU collab kit called Dark Secrets

Mask of choice. I am using Becky_Mask023. Becky's site is gone now but her mask can still be accessed using thewaybackmachine  it is in zip1.

Font of choice.

Eye Candy - Gradient Glow for text.

Xero - Porcelain

Lets begin.

Open a new transparent image 700x700

Open Frame 3 - resize 75% - copy - paste as new layer.

With you magic wand with these settings

Click inside the frame making sure that you click inside every open space.

Selections - modify - expand by 2 - invert.

Open Paper 1 - copy - paste as a new layer - hit delete on your keyboard. Move under the frame. Leave selected.

Open your tube resize if needed. Copy - paste as a new layer. Position to where you would like it. 

Hit delete - select none. Move under your frame.

Apply Porcelain with these settings.

Open Tree - resize 75% - copy - paste as new layer. Position down just a bit and under the frame.. Duplicate - image - mirror - flip. Position down a bit.

Open Moon - resize 85%. - copy - paste as new layer. Position up to the right and under the Tree.

Make sure you are on your top layer.

Open Grass Skulls - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer. Position to the bottom right.

Open Grass - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer. Position under the skulls - duplicate - image - mirror. Position up just a bit.

Open Rock - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer. Position to the left.

Open Violin - image - mirror - resize 45% - copy - paste as a new layer. Position to the right side of the rock.

Open Rubble - resize 65% - copy - paste as a new layer. Position down and under the grass.

Open Rose&Thorns - resize - 50% - copy - paste as a new layer. Position to the left and down. Duplicate - move below the grass skulls. On the original erase the small part of the thorns across the skull.

Open Lantern - resize 60% - copy - paste as a new layer. Position up to the right so that the top blends in with the branch.

Open Bird - image - mirror - resize 30% - copy - paste as new layer. Position to the left on branch.

Add a new raster layer - arrange to the bottom. Fill with black. Apply your mask. If you used the same one I did then resize 85% -position to the right a bit.

Crop and resize.

Add © copyright information, license number and any text or name you want.
