Fairy Designs Tutorials-2015

This tutorial is my own creation and written by me February 2, 2015 . Any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.

Materials Needed:

PSP X3 or any version should work.
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art ofVeryMany
Can be purchased at VeryMany Tubes.
You must have a license to use this art.
Scrap Kit I Heart U by Mellie Beans.
Kit can be purchased at Mystical Scraps or HeartBeatz Creations.
Mask of choice. I am using DD_VMask_1 from
Dangerously Delicious Designz
Font of choice. I am using Burgues Script.
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow for text.




Lets begin.
Open a new 700x700 transparent image.
Open e18 - resize 60% - copy - paste as new layer.
Click inside with the magic wand - selections - modify - expand - 4.
Open pp10 - resize 60% - copy - paste as new layer - hit delete on the keyboard.
Keep selected.
Open your tube - resize as needed - copy - paste as new layer.
Position in frame - hit delete on the keyboard.
See my tag for placement of elements.
Open e34 - image - mirror copy - paste as new layer.
Position toward the bottom of the frame.
Duplicate - free rotate - right - 90.
Erase the bottom - as below.

Open e15 - resize 65% - copy - paste as new layer.

Duplicate - image - mirror - resize 85%.

Open e09 - resize 50% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move between flower layers.

Highlight top layer.

Open your tube - resize as needed - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e16 - resize 75% - image - mirror - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the top flower layer.

Open e25 - resize 60% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the crochet flower layer.

Open e12 - image - mirror - copy paste as new layer.

Move under cupid layer.

Erase the part of the chain that goes across the tube in the frame.

Add a new raster layer and send to the bottom if you don't already have an empty layer there.

Select all.

Open pp01 - copy - paste into selection - select none.

Apply your mask - merge group.

Crop and resize to your liking.

Add a drop shadow of choice to all elements.

Be sure to sharpen.

I applied a light drop shadow to the heart bracelet.

Open e20 - resize 75% - copy - paste as new layer.

Move under the tube layer.

Add © copyright information, license number. Save as transparent png.
