Fairy Designs Tutorials-2014

This tutorial is my own creation and written by me December 11, 2014. Any resemblance to others is purely coincidental.  

This tutorial was written for those with a working knowledge of PSP.

Materials Needed:

PSP X3 or any version should work.
Tube of choice. I am using the beautiful art of Amy Brown.
Can be purchased at Creative Design Outlet.
You must have a license to use this art.
Scrap Kit Winter Blues by Mellie Beans.
Kit can be purchased at  Mystical Scraps or HeartBeatz Creations.
Mask of choice. I am using DD_WinterMask_1 from
Dangerously Delicious Designz
Font of choice. I am using
Eye Candy 4000 - Gradient Glow for text.




Lets begin.
Open a new 600x600 transparent image.
Fill with white.
Add a new raster layer - select all.
Open pp08 - copy - paste into selection - select none.
Apply your mask - merge group - duplicate - merge down.
Open your tube - resize if needed - copy - paste as new layer.
All layers will go under the tube layer until the last one.
Open e32 - resize 90% - image - mirror - copy - paste as new layer.
Erase as shown below.

Duplicate - image free rotate - 90 - right - image - mirror.
Position down - erase as below. Only erase the leaf not the tube.

Open e33 resize 55% then resize 90% - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e21 - resize 75% then resize 90% - image flip - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e25 - resize 40% - image - mirror - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e05 - resize 75% - image - free rotate - 90 - right - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e02 - resize 35% - copy - paste as new layer.

Duplicate - image - flip.

Open e17 - resize 75% - image - mirror - copy - paste as new layer.

Erase the bottom steam as below.

Open e04 - resize 70% - copy - paste as new layer.

Open e34 - resize 405 then resize 90% - copy - paste as new layer.

Duplicate - free rotate - 90 - left - resize 75% then resize 90%.

Open e09 - resize 35%- copy - paste as new layer.

Move between the pine cone layers.

Highlight your to top layer.

Open e36 - resize 60 then resize 90% - free rotate 90% - left - copy - paste as new layer.

Apply drop shadow of choice.

Delete the white layer.

Crop and resize to your liking.

Be sure to sharpen all elements and tube.
Add © copyright information and license number.

Add what ever name that you would like.
